COVID-19 Update as of September 20, 2021

As the Farmyard is an outdoor venue, all activities will remain open as normal. Masks or proof of vaccination are not required, however, we ask for you assistance in social distancing. Timed tickets will be required for the remainder of the Fall season.

We are fully committed to ensuring a clean, safe experience for our visitors, staff and family. We understand the risks of Covid-19 and will address these risks on our farm by:

1.    Adhering to and reinforcing AHS distancing guidelines and restrictions. This includes:

  • Encouraging mask use where distancing may be more difficult. Masks, however, are not required. Staff are required to wear masks when in close contact with the public, and always indoors.

  • Limiting performance type activities to ensure social distancing can be maintained (No crowding). until restrictions are lifted. All activities will remain open with the exception of the pig races.

  • Requesting 2m distancing through terms of agreement on tickets, at check-in, and through signage throughout the farm.

  • Clear signage is posted online and at the entrance of the facility. Fence posts and railings are spaced 7 to 10’ apart. Guests are to maintain a one fence post distance from others.

  • Walking trails are designed with adequate spacing for guests to pass each other while maintaining a minimum of 2m distance.

2. Being a leader in safe sanitation and hygiene practices in all aspects of our farm.

  • Common areas, animal areas, and washroom facilities are disinfected routinely and spaced out to ensure social distancing.

  • Sanitizing stations are available at all areas of our farm, and hand washing facilities are available near petting areas and washroom facilities.

3.    Ensuring staff pass a health check prior to each shift, and are trained in COVID-19 health and safety practices.
